Our Divine Comedy brings together the work of Hayla Hay and Danielle deo Owensby, two artists who traverse the terrain between belief and selfhood, navigating inner and spiritual transformation. Drawing from Christian symbolism, mythological narratives, and allegorical traditions, both artists dismantle and reconfigure the visual languages that have long been used to define moral order and spiritual truth.

This exhibit features a group of artists who meet at CFE Roasters Coffee House in Oxford, MI weekly to draw as a group. The group works in the mediums of Charcoal, Graphite, Conte Crayon Colored Pencil and Ink, drawing a variety of subject matters. And sometimes commissions of the patrons at the Coffee shop are the subjects!

The exhibition showcases the work of Jim Nawara and Lucille Procter Nawara, who are early influencers of contemporary artists in Detroit. Additionally, it features four prominent painters and educators: Rick Vian, Susan Friedman, Clinton Snyder, and Shirley Parish.
Each of these individuals has made a significant impact on the Detroit art community.
